Shlomo Car Sales & Leasing

Visit

Shlomo Sixt is one of Israel’s leading automotive companies, offering car sales, leasing, financing, trade-in, and mobility services under one ecosystem.

I led the UX/UI design of the new car sales and leasing websites, translating the company’s updated positioning into a modern, service-oriented digital experience.

More about the project

Beyond Traditional Automotive UX

One of the key ideas behind the redesign was understanding that Shlomo Sixt offers much more than just buying or leasing a car. The website needed to communicate the broader ecosystem around driving, including financing, trade-ins, support services, and long-term flexibility.

This thinking shaped both the structure and UX of the experience, leading to a website that feels more service-oriented and guidance-driven rather than a traditional dealership catalog.

Rethinking Lead Generation

One of the project’s biggest UX changes was replacing the standard automotive lead form with a booking flow for branch appointments. Instead of simply leaving details, users could schedule a meeting at their nearest branch, creating a more personal and service-focused interaction.

To support this flow, I designed:

  • Vehicle catalog and filtering systems
  • Search and discovery UX
  • Marketing banners across listing and product pages
  • Financing calculator and service pages
  • Mobile and responsive adaptations
  • A scalable design system for future growth

Process and Challenges

The project involved balancing complex UX systems with strong visual storytelling across two different offerings: car sales and leasing. One challenge was creating intuitive filtering and navigation experiences while maintaining a consistent brand language across the ecosystem.

Another challenge was presenting vehicles without relying on original photography. I developed flexible layouts and promotional systems that elevated the experience while supporting marketing goals throughout the site.

One of the strongest moments in the project was the homepage hero, where motion and storytelling were used to immediately communicate Shlomo’s forward-thinking positioning.

Visual Language

The design combines structured marketplace UX with bold marketing elements. Large typography, motion, promotional banners, and service-focused sections helped create an experience that feels modern, scalable, and approachable.

Rather than feeling like a traditional dealership website, the final result positions Shlomo Sixt as a complete mobility and service ecosystem.

Impact

The redesign gave Shlomo Sixt a scalable digital foundation across car sales and leasing, helping modernize the company’s online presence and create a more service-oriented user journey.

Most importantly, the introduction of appointment booking flows shifted the lead experience from passive form collection into a more human and guided interaction.
